Bathymetric Surveys

Piri Reis provides board certified hydrographic / bathymetric surveying services in Turkey. Over the past 20 years Piri Reis has been using its own equipment offshore and nearshore areas, lakes and ponds. Real-Time Kinematic Differential Global Positioning Systems (RTK-DGPS) generally used to provide centimeter-accurate vertical and horizontal control on shore related surveys. Trimble HydroPro™ is used for vessel control, tracking, online and offline bathymetric data recording and post processing.

Using the latest autonomous softwares (HydroPro, Surfer) Piri Reis provides the data quicker and cost effectively to the clients. Most of the surveys can be carried out, processed and conveyed to client’s own e-mail server within 24 hours. Our survey work mostly produced under AutoCad and a full drawing can be ready to send via e-mail in traditional CAD (DXF/DWG) format. Our clients can be sure that they can carry out their own design work, based on our survey results, in a shorter period.

Our proposals and results are considered to be easy to interpret and include colored contouring at required intervals, depth data, all available digital topographic data, the clients outline proposals and designs etc. Piri Reis also can provide a professional and cost effective positioning and quantity evaluation service for pre and post dredging surveys.
